Excellent Lawyer -- Smart, Savvy, Reliable, Communicative, and Very Easy To Work With.

Mr. Christopher Meatto is an intelligent lawyer, whose anticipatory nature aims to prevent unexpected hurdles that may arise in legal matters. He assesses situations from all sides, in an effort to consider and prepare for all possible outcomes. He is honest in his counsel, very communicative, and wi...ll take the time to clearly explain the many facets of your case, as well as translate confusing legal documents. He keeps his records very well organized and allows anytime access for clients via cloud storage, is easily available by phone, and quick to reply by email. He is clear and concise in his communication, without ever making you feel rushed. His fees are a bargain, for the amount of time, effort and dedication Mr. Meatto will expend in working with you. If recommended his practice to others, all of which have been very happy in working with him. He also has a great sense of humor, and offers sage wisdom, making sticky situations a little more tolerable. Mr. Meatto is an excellent lawyer, and I couldn't recommend him enough.

A Very Fine Gentleman (Qué Fino)

It was cold, late January and we had a week packed with meetings, we had vetted lawyers from around New York. Returning from, what we settled to be our last meeting for counsel—an hour’s drive from our Launch Pad—Chris was the final one to return our E-mail. Once he established contact with us, he wa...s prompt and responsive; he met up with us the next day, comfortably accommodating us at The Harvard Club. At the time, we were in the structurally formative stages of our company. We really needed trustworthy, capable, intelligent, counsel that would guide us through the detailed rich process of, successfully setting-up, organizing and sustaining a corporation. To our divine delight Mr. Chris Meatto was not only of intellectual pedigree, he was a beautiful person. Considering the typical heavy costs and limitations of legal counsel alone, saving branding, marketing and other start-up costs—working with Chris is far more valuable than any traditional consultant we would normally find. He is fluid, flexible considerate, talented and a strategic visionary. Chris is far more than a document drafter; he is a thinker, strategist and valued consultant in many matters. He is a catalyst for learning, helping us to understand and grow independently, along side his ethereally ubiquitous support. He prods like a wise sage, compelling us to reach our greatest potential of success. It was now April and two months had passed, since we first began our relationship with Chris—as counsel to Qué Fino. We legally structured our organization after a few collaborations on Shareholders’ Agreement and bylaws. We were now vetting media developers. Chris got involved and hosted us at The Harvard Club. He enabled and coordinated the meeting with a potential media developer. Chris is like the friend that is helping so many people; he forgets to eat, so in order to appreciate Chris’ kind and mind, you must learn that when he says, “keep me updated,” he really means it. He welcomes and fosters robust substantive communications, in a: Ping-Pong of respectful persistence. Chris has been nothing but open, enabling, empowering and faithful with us. We recommend Mr. Meatto to any entrepreneur smart enough to maximize their investments. With Chris, you get a brilliant, atypical professional, trust-worthy confidant and advisor. Working with Chris is a success; we wish you all the best. John & Peter Founders Qué Fino Coffee

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
