Biography
Raised in Queens NY, Mr. Benchakroun earned his Bachelor of Science degree at St. John’s University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He went on to Syracuse University College of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate degree, graduating in the top five percent of his class.
While pursuing his law degree, Mr. Benchakroun clerked for the Honorable Glenn. T. Suddaby, United States District Judge for the Northern District of New York, gaining invaluable experience in criminal law, particularly with regards to pre-trial process, discovery, plea negotiations, trials, evidentiary motions and sentencing hearings. Mr. Benchakroun also served as an Executive Editor of the Syracuse Law Review, and as a member of the Moot Court Honor Society.
Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Benchakroun worked as an Associate Attorney with Harris Beach PLLC, where he practiced extensively in the areas of Commercial Real Estate and Litigation. Mr. Benchakroun is committed to providing exceptional legal advice and representation in all legal matters, including criminal defense, employment, immigration, and civil litigation.
Mr. Benchakroun is admitted to practice before the courts of New York State and in the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Away from work, Mr. Benchakroun enjoys running, swimming, and other outdoor activities.
