Stephanie Yohanna Messas

Originally from Marseille, France, born to one American parent and a French one, I grew up in a bi-cultural home. I moved to the U.S. to complete my post-high school studies in 1997 and became a graduate of Brandeis university in 2001 (B.A.) and Northeastern School of Law (2005, Juris Doctor). I had the opportunity to live, study, and work abroad including in France and throughout the United States. I was admitted to the New York Bar in 2006.

During law school, I interned for various firms, including at Coudert Freres in its International Arbitration Department. I began my career as a judicial clerk for Justice Ramos at the Commercial Division in 2005, handling complex commercial cases as part of the Supreme Court of the New York State. I then focused my general commercial practice at two New York law firms focusing on commercial transactions and employment law and, in 2011, was in-house counsel to a business management startup setting up the company’s legal structure. Before founding my firm, I was an associate in a New York law firm, for many years, focusing my practice on the creation, acquisition, and representation of American subsidiaries of foreign companies.

The bottom line is, I have counseled many businesses over the years. If you have an issue, I have most likely dealt with it before and, if not, I know where to find answers.
