Stacy Thompson became an associate of Pulvers, Pulvers & Thompson, LLP in August of 2006 after graduating from New York Law School. Stacy came to Pulvers with an interest in medicine and medical malpractice and took extensive coursework in these areas while a student at New York Law School.
Originally from Somerset County New Jersey, Stacy attended Bridgewater Raritan High School where she excelled as a student-athlete graduating in the top ten percent of her class and earning four-year varsity letters in both lacrosse and swimming. Thereafter, Stacy graduated magna cum laude from The George Washington University with a bachelor of arts in sociology and a minor in criminology. While at GW Stacy served as the President of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority for two consecutive terms and was selected out of over 200,000 members nationwide to give an address at the organization’s national convention in 2002. While living and studying in Washington, D.C., Stacy also worked as an event planner for Natalie P. Shear and Associates where she had the opportunity to travel the country planning events for non-profit and political organizations.
In 2003, Stacy moved to New York City and to pursue her dream of living in the big apple and began her studies at New York Law School. While at New York Law School Stacy focused her studies in personal injury and medical malpractice. Upon graduating with a Juris Doctor in 2006 Stacy hit the ground running as an associate with Pulvers, Pulvers & Thompson, LLP where she handled all aspects of plaintiff’s litigation from drafting pleadings to taking depositions of physicians. During this time Stacy became especially interested in medical malpractice and has fostered strong professional relationships with hundreds of expert physicians across the country. In 2007 Stacy was selected to sit on the Young Member’s Committee of the Brooklyn Bar Association.
In 2012 Stacy was named managing attorney, a position she presently holds, and is charged with the responsibility of managing and over-seeing over three-hundred case files at a given time. Stacy loves the daily contact she has with her clients and is known for being both a tough litigator and compassionate to her clients’ needs at the same time.
Stacy currently lives in Briarcliff Manor, in Westchester County where she spends her free time cooking, gardening and playing with her three-year old twin boys.
