Jeff represented me in a criminal case which later also involved a family case. I was facing two misdemeanors and an infraction. To complicate things, this was all taking place during the height of the COVID pandemic. Courts were on back log, and my case was in a position where it could have pote...ntially dragged on for well over a year. This meant that, due to an exclusionary order of protection, I could not return to my home during this time. To top it off, I was facing a DA that was totally aloof to my predicament. Jeff went above and beyond to expedite and resolve my matter. He was able to circumvent all the red tape and barriers and obtain an expedited hearing which involved the total dismissal of all the charges that were pending against me. After the conclusion of the criminal case, Jeff represented me in the family case that followed. He was able to quickly obtain an exclusionary order of protection for me and I was able to return home the same day. He concluded the family case by locking in a very extended order of protection for me and a full acknowledgment of guilt by the offending party. Jeff was accessible, responsive, communicative, available, hard working, skillful, patient, sympathetic, capable, open minded, knowledgeable and much more. Also, I can't stress enough how easily he was able to circumnavigate the monstrous barriers created by the COVID pandemic . He is an amazing lawyer, will continue to be my lawyer and I highly recommend him.

It was just 3 days before my court date and I still didn’t have any representation. That’s when I was put in contact with Mr. Scaggs who could not have been more accommodating. He was very understanding in terms of payment, I even tried to cancel our meeting due to my financial situation and he told ...me not to worry about that, we’ll set up a payment schedule, he told me I shouldn’t let money stop me from getting the proper legal representation. Mr. Scaggs got my criminal charges dismissed and pled down to to a non-criminal infraction, and more importantly he was able to keep it off my record.
