This review is from a person who hired this attorney.

Beyond a great lawyer, a mentor and friend.

Our organization provides risk management services and related insurance products to community banks. We currently count approximately 40 in our primary service market of local institutions with less than one billion dollars in assets. We have worked with Ivan Serchuk during the past three de...cades. From this first hand experience, he has consistently displayed a remarkable ability to provide the right level of timely advice on a host of banking and related matters. Stated simply, Ivan is a true professional that can be counted on; he has my unqualified professional endorsement and my deep personal respect.

The Best Banking Specialty Attorney Worked With

Mr. Serchuk was engaged originally in 1998 in connection with a merger with another Bank. He was professional, had an intimate knowledge of the businesses involved, and made an otherwise stressful process much simpler than anticipated. His responses, including to voice and email are prompt. As a r...esult of that experience, he has continued to be retained exclusively as our corporate regulatory counsel. Having dealt with other attorney's in the past, I discovered that most questions required a degree of research - not so with Mr. Serchuk - many times he cites the banking law or regulation pertaining to the question during the initial discussion - saving on research time and expense. I would not use anyone else.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
