My go to for Immigration advice and needs

I first worked with Houman when I was the Controller at a digital advertising agency in NYC. We often hired staff that had immigration issues ranging from visa transfers to moving from a foreign country. Houman made the immigration process seamless for everyone involved at my agency. He took the time... to explain to me the details of the many complex issues that I was not aware of. Because of his work, we were able to make some great hires which in turn benefited the entire agency. I would highly recommend working with Houman. I look forward to working with him again as well.

Very knowledgeable, great client service

Houman handled my successful green card application 18 months ago. He ensured the whole process went swimmingly with minimal effort on my part and great service and communication on his. It came through in only a matter of months, and while he won't be able to guarantee such a quick decision every ti...me, I put a lot of that down to the great application he put together.

L1 visa / green card applications

Houman managed both my L1 visa and green card apps, with efficiency, great communication and aplomb. He kept me in light of any new developments and from what I hear about other nightmarish immigration attorneys, I lucked out big time with this guy. Houman was always courteous, always took my calls, ...answered any nervy questions I had with patience and understanding, and he dealt withall the necessary authorities, in some cases going above and beyond the call of duty. Not to put too fine a point on it but he was a delight to work with, and I heartily recommend him to others.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
