Biography
Mr. Alvarado earned his J.D. from New York Law School. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the Pennsylvania State University. During law school, Mr. Alvarado was a research assistant to Professor Joseph Marino and assisted in editing the McKinney’s New York Practice Treatise as well as assisting in all facets of Professor Marino’s bar review programs as well as the Marino Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Alvarado practiced real estate, landlord-tenant, and general litigation. While at a boutique mid-town real estate law firm Mr. Alvarado’s practice was focused on commercial and residential summary proceedings, administrative hearings, J-51 matters, appeals, condo and co-op conversion as well as trials and complex motion practice in all the courts of New York. In addition, Mr. Alvarado has provided several New York based musicians and restaurants with their intellectual property and litigation needs.
Mr. Alvarado is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the State of New Jersey.
