Biography
Ben has been practicing law since 2004 and is admitted in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He holds a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Albany Law School.
Prior to his tenure at the Law Offices of Joseph K. Jones, LLC, Ben litigated for several New York City law firms and was the Court Attorney for a New York City Criminal Court Judge. Ben has successfully argued many cases, including, Restrepo v. Home Depot, 92 A.D.3d 857 (2nd Dept. 2012) in the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division and is also the author of "Can You Hear Me Now?": Cellular Phones and Mass Tort Litigation After Newman v. Motorola, 14 . Sci. & Tech. 267 (2003).
Before beginning his legal career, Ben worked for several years as Legislative Assistant for a New York Congressman in Washington, D.C. He is a member of Business Network International (BNI) and a Director on the Albany Law School National Alumni Association
