I strongly recommend you keep a far distance from this attorney, better yet a teacher haha. The worse experience and/or position you can place yourself between. The rates this attorney charges for his level of experience is extremely OVERPRICED. PERSONALLY I wouldn’t hire him to cut my grass nor clea...n my car :)). He often displays his credentials/education which is complete meaningless when you have zero success to show for it, let alone when you actually experience his unknowledgeable , Disrespectful, careless personality. Check your emails once a while and take some time to put some mind in to what you write and how you write. 3yrs

I have dealt with a lot of legal professionals over the years. I hired Melnik Law Group and can easily say that this is easily one of the worst law firms that I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Melnik Law Group advertises itself based on Steven Melnik's expertise in law and... accounting. I wouldnt know if he or his firm really have this expertise because once Melnik Law Group had my money they refused to answer any legal questions I had regarding the services they were supposed to provide. They effectively treated me as a stranger, not as a client, after taking my money. Melnik himself will be happy to show you his resume and his education credentials. Dont be fooled. Melnik's education credentials are meaningless - it is as if they dont exist - if he is not using them to provide you with the legal assistance you need. If you are considering using Melnik Law Group, I would advise you to find someone else.

I retained Mr.Steven Melnik for his services after meeting with him at his office in the Rockefeller center in NYC for $6,500.00 at the end of 2014. Since which I have repeatedly tried to speak to Mr. Melnik (or his associate Mr. Johnson) but never got past leaving a message with his secretary, whom... assured me each time that I would receive a call back in regards to my case. I have no idea if anything was even submitted by either one of them. So aside from my 20 minute initial consult I have not spoken to or heard from Melnik Law Group. There was an error made by Mr. Melnik on my contract, which has not been corrected due to the fact that I can't reach him. It is now Tax season and time to file. I am upset, worried and in limbo.
