Biography
Jan is Managing Partner and head of the private equity and investment funds practices at Schwell Wimpfheimer & Associates. He practices general corporate and transactional law, with a focus on representing sponsors and investors in all types of private investment funds and handling international mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions for financial institutions, multi-national businesses, and other clients.
Jan’s private funds work includes advising on all aspects of fund formation for hedge funds and private equity funds, including venture capital, real estate, buyout, and other types of investment vehicles, as well as handling portfolio investments on their behalf.
Jan worked in New York for eight years at leading international law firms (including Debevoise & Plimpton). In 2001, Jan joined the prestigious Israeli firm, Herzog, Fox & Neeman – Israel’s largest law firm, becoming partner in 2006.

Be Careful of Jan Wimpfheimer
I believe Jan Wimpfheimer will be going to prison for financial fraud. Be very careful in dealing with him.
