Biography
Thomas Holmgren is an associate in the firm’s New York office. Thomas regularly defends automotive negligence and no-fault claims, including claims that were referred by the special investigative units of insurance carriers.
Prior to joining Goldberg, Miller & Rubin, Thomas was an associate at a midsized national law firm where he represented clients in various civil and criminal matters.
While in law school, Thomas served as the editor for Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal and acted as the Interscholastic Competition Director for the Moot Court Board. In addition to winning multiple multidisciplinary intramural negotiation competitions, Thomas was extremely competitive in seven national dispute resolution competitions. His notable finishes included a semifinalist finish at the Tulane Mardi Gras Sports Law Invitational which allowed him the opportunity to argue in front of 5th Circuit Judges.
During college, Thomas earned dual bachelor’s degrees while he was a member of the Hartwick’s football team and an active Boy’s and Girl’s Club mentor.
Thomas enjoys participating in any competitive activities, following the Mets, and standup comedy acts.
