Barry Alan Mahler

I should have known not to work with this lawyer when I visited his office. He does not own a computer!!!! I was greeted by a very rude receptionist and Barry himself sits on a fold out chair in his "office". All of those are minor details though if he had gotten things done and on time. I went to hi...m for a simple simple real estate purchase. I was so fed up with him that at the end I decided to represent myself. PLEASE save yourself the pain and find another lawyer to work with.

I found Barry Mahler very responsive and effective in the number of issues involved with my new Will. We didn't have further contact at the time but I would have used him again re trusts, etc, had I needed that service. When I attempted to reach him a few weeks ago, I was told, when calling the phon...e number shown in AVVO, the person who answered the phone said that he never heard of Mr. Mahler. So, I'm confused.

Reading the other reviews, I wonder if they are legitimate, because they in no way resemble the experiences my wife and I had working with Mr. Mahler for two apartment purchases. He was always very friendly, professional, and diligent. We had no problems and both transactions were very smooth. We'...re about to sell an apartment and will be using him for a 3rd time.
