Best in the Business - Highly Recommend

Josh Stevens is THE guy for criminal defense in NY. He is experienced, extremely knowledgeable and reasonable. Josh was proactive, relentless, and an exceptional communicator. He took the time often outside normal business hours to respond immediately, ensuring I felt confident and informed at every ...step of the process. Within the courthouse, I noticed Josh was widely respected by both his fellow attorneys and courtroom staff which I believe is a clear testament to his exceptional courtroom presence and overall professionalism. Josh is simply authentic and the best money can buy. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to have worked with him.

Got 10 years probation down to 6 (possibly 3)

I hired Josh because I was falsely accused of something. With Josh’s help, I was able to avoid having felony charges on my record. He also reduced the terms of my probation significantly (no curfew etc) and knocked my probation time down from 10 years to 6. We’re pretty sure he’ll get that down to 3.... Will be working on that with Josh in a year or so.

DISMISSED IN 3 HEARINGS

I was wrongfully arrested for a motor cycle accident & Joshua Stevens helped me get the case dismissed. Joshua is sharp, well spoken, and is very competent, exactly the type of individual I needed to represent me. I plan to also use his services again to pursue a civil rights lawsuit. 5/5

Humane, honest, compassionate, and effective

It is rare to find a humane lawyer like Mr. Stevens. He is very professional and responsive. He is not after money and genuinely wants to help people. He also breaks down complex laws in a way that a layman can understand. If he gives you his words he keeps it which is rare in this day and age. Aside... from his personal attributes and kindness he is a heck of a lawyer. He was able to have my brother’s felony and other charges dismissed very promptly. I know taking a look at his stellar reviews may make you doubt him because it may seem too good to be true, I too thought that. However, after working with him I can attest that he is indeed a great attorney and the his client reviews are genuine.
