Timothy Robert Lenahan

Timothy Lenahan is the lead labor and employment lawyer in Manifest Law’s Manhattan office. As an experienced attorney who has worked on over 1,500 employment matters, Timothy oversees the entire practice area for the firm as well as a network of attorneys working on a variety of labor and employment matters.

Timothy graduated with honors with a Juris Doctor from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, while also earning a Masters in Business Administration degree from Paul College at the University of New Hampshire.
With 7+ years of professional experience, Tim boasts an extensive track record of representing clients across a spectrum of employment cases, including unpaid wages and overtime cases, discrimination complaints, harassment complaints and litigation in front of various courts and US government agencies.

Timothy has worked on hundreds of wage and overtime cases, and as such, has recovered money for many people who were not paid properly under New York law. These unpaid wage cases oftentime result from companies attempting to circumvent overtime laws by misclassifying their employees as having an annual salary, when they should have been paid hourly, and should have received overtime for any hours worked beyond 40 hours in a week.

Some of the notable cases Timothy has worked on include a recovery of over one hundred thousand dollars for a woman who was sexually harassed by her boss in the workplace and countless recoveries in the tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars for employees who were discriminated against. Further, Timothy has cumulatively recovered hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid wages for clients. Notably, Timothy was able to recover over $75,000 in unpaid wages for an employee who was illegally denied overtime, and whose regular wage was below the minimum wage.
