Shari Lisa Moidel

I have worked with Shari for four years. She turned potentially disastrous port of entry denial into a success, then later successfully into an extension allowing me to continue to work in the U.S. for the past 31/2 years. I will turn to Shari again when I require help obtaining a work or immigration... visa (Canada to the U.S.). She is easy to reach, fees are clear and fair - mostly she is someone I could talk to easily when it seemed my work life was coming apart.

I write this review to recommend Ms. Moidel for business-related non-immigrant visas and green cards cases. As Chief Executive of a Florida-based signage design and manufacturing company, our relationship with Ms. Moidel began in 2002 to bring in managers, executives and specialized knowledge employe...es from our corporate affiliate in the Middle East.  She had a 100% success rate with 6 different files totaling 12 different applications. The majority were brought in on L-1 visas, followed by permanent resident applications. Ms. Moidel was able to switch tracks entirely and change status from E-2 (investor visa) to R-1 (religious worker) for an individual whose case was different and more complicated than most. Ms. Moidel is responsive, always available quickly by telephone or internet. She does her due diligence before starting a matter, to set a fair fee, always fixed, which is payable as pre-agreed-upon milestones are reached.  She is pleasant to work with and although I recently retired, I continue to give her name out.

Ms. Moidel is an excellent immigration attorney, helping us on our immigration case to Canada. As a same-sex couple immigrating, we had a lot of questions and concerns. Ms. Moidel's expertise in this area of immigration law was extremely helpful, and enabled us to strategize the best case possible fo...r the immigration officer. When a second round of evidence was required from Canadian immigration, we were concerned that our case was going to be rejected. Ms. Moidel was quick to respond to the request and showed us how best to compile a compelling response. She even personally got in contact with immigration officials to plead our case.

As a Human Resources Manager, I have consulted Ms. Moidel on immigration matters several times with a variety of questions. I have always found her advice to be well thought out. Typically, she will not only give you advice but, she will provide detailed reasons as to why she came to that conclusio...n. She will also tell you what the consequences could be if you don't follow the path she recommends. All in all, a good, solid attorney. I do not hesitate to recommend her.
