About 15 years ago, I lost all of my possessions in a warehouse fire. I had let my homeowners policy lapse on the belongings and was at a complete loss on what to do next. I contacted Scott for advice, and his first comment was how sorry he was for my loss and if there was anything he could do to h...elp in the short term. After that, Scott worked diligently on researching case law and determined the warehouse did not offer additional insurance to cover my belongings. This was grounds for 3x damages. He also investigated the fire and determined the warehouse was illegally letting people sleep in the place at night. (One of the "residents" was using a kerosene heater to keep warm when it tipped over and sent the place into a 5 alarm fire.) Because of Scott's hard work and research, I was able to recover the value of most of my belongings.
