Attorney Ronald C. Burke, Esq. has practiced law for over 30 years and has focused extensively on personal injury and malpractice cases. He is a seasoned trial lawyer and has won many multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts for his clients over the years. His extensive success in malpractice litigation, has gained him a strong reputation for success. He has been featured in the news and is a regular lecturer for the New York County Lawyers Association, as well as having lectured before the New York State Bar Association.
Mr. Burke's awards and accolades are many. Among them, he has been included in New York Super Lawyers® each year since 2010, and he has received the highest-possible AV® Rating from Martindale-Hubbell®. Verdict Search, a part of the New York Law Journal, frequently recognizes his notable successes after winning some of the highest verdicts in past years.
In June 2023, he secured a $7,500,000 settlement after a jury verdict holding the driver of an SUV 95% liable for striking a pedestrian in the crosswalk who suffered a fractured skull and brain injuries.
In 2022 Ron Burke obtained two $5,000,000 jury verdicts: the first in Nassau County for a construction worker who fell off a ladder sustaining a pilon ankle fracture and the second in Kings County for the victim of medical/dental malpractice whose maxillary sinus infection was caused to spread to the frontal sinus and then to the brain.
In 2017 Ron Burke won one of the highest medical malpractice wrongful death verdicts in New York State that year in the amount of $5,730,000.
In 2016 Ron Burke obtained the 5th and 6th Highest Construction Accident Jury Verdicts in New York State according to the New York Law Journal.
