Robert Alexander Osuna

I had a phone interview with Mr. Osuna. He was very promising, however, at the end of every sentence he asked for his money "as soon as I received your first payment, I will start your case. Your case is very simple and if shouldn't take long". I sent him the payment and that was the end of it. Every... time I called him, he asked me to call him back and two weeks, after the first tree months he sounded like a broken recor "I will talk to the DA call me back in two weeks". After a year, I sent emails, messages, voice mail and never got a replay until one morning I called from a different phone number, he answered his phone and said "ohhh!!! Your case is too old and I can't help you. To make my story short. Mr. Osuna took my money and did absolutely nothing to help me with my case. Don't trust this lawyer

I hired Mr. Osuna 12/2012 because I needed a lawyer to review my stipulation which was already drafted up by my ex- attorney. I paid him $5000 for the retainer's fee. I saw Mr Osuna once in his office - first visit, then twice in court. After I signed the divorce paper in 4/2013, I didn't hear fro...m Mr. Osuna. The stipulation was actually the same with no charges - we had to cross out old dates from Dec in the court. He also stated that the court was backed up and he didn't receive the last judgment of certificate. I contacted my ex to find out that he already had received the divorce certificate about 6 months ago from the time I contacted Mr. Osuna. I asked Mr. Osuna, why did the cost go over the retainer's fee and he did not make me aware of that, especially when he told me that my case would not be more than about $3000, and I would be receiving a refund. He did not respond in a kindly manner. He had no intention of refunding me my money. Also, some of the work that he charged me for was egregious - such as negotiation. The stipulation was EXACTLY how I gave him. The old lawyer's name was still on it with old dates, which had to be crossed out in court. It is June of 2015, and Mr. Osuna still haven't completed the work - QDRO. I am in the process of getting a new lawyer to complete Mr. Osuna's work. I would not recommend this lawyer because he did not have my interest at heart. It seems he was only concerned about making a fast money and doing a minimal amount of work.
