False promises
I had a phone interview with Mr. Osuna. He was very promising, however, at the end of every sentence he asked for his money "as soon as I received your first payment, I will start your case. Your case is very simple and if shouldn't take long". I sent him the payment and that was the end of it. Every...
This review is false. The review states I had to "call a DA" thus implying their matter was a criminal case. The review complains that after a year the case was "too old" to be helped. That cannot be true. Every criminal case requires regular monthly court appearances. The client must be present or have a warrant issued for their arrest. ANY CRIMINAL DEFENSE CLIENT KNOWS IN ONE YEAR THEY WOULD HAVE MADE AT LEAST EIGHT TO TEN COURT APPEARANCES WITH THEIR ATTORNEY PRESENT. Its impossible a criminal case would have lasted a year and the client never see or speak to their lawyer, not even in Court? Further when criminal cases get "too old" the case case gets dismissed and the client is present for this or any result. Thus I urge this writer to contact me directly to discuss what compels them to write things that cannot be true. Its unfortunate that AVVO allows individuals to make anonymous complaints of this nature.

Divorce Case
I hired Mr. Osuna 12/2012 because I needed a lawyer to review my stipulation which was already drafted up by my ex- attorney. I paid him $5000 for the retainer's fee. I saw Mr Osuna once in his office - first visit, then twice in court. After I signed the divorce paper in 4/2013, I didn't hear fro...
This client and I had a fee dispute hearing. The arbitrator ruled I earned by entire fee completely. In reviewing her settlement document I did ALL the due diligence needed including getting valuations on the coop, the retirement packages and the tax implications. In recognition of all the work I performed, the clients husband paid me an additional $2000.00 of which I was awarded $1400.00 and the client was given $600.00. The QDROs or Qualified Domestic Relations Orders were not done by me as those are done by private companies such as Lexington Pension and the client refused to pay them. But after a hearing it was decided I earned my entire fee and then some.
"Mr. Osuna is a gentleman and a scholar. He is also a very nice guy, who is approachable, does not talk over anyone's head although he is extremely knowledgeable and intelligent, and an accomplished attorney. I not only happily endorse him, but I would refer those seeking the legal services he provides and practices in that I do not to him."
