Irwin J. Berowitz

Meeting Mr Berowitz was simply the best experience we had, since my fiance, family and I encountered dealing with one of the most hardest times of our lives. My green card holder fiance had a very complicated criminal history but was never threatned by ICE to be deported. His record included alot of... petit/minor misdemeanors but nothing violent. One day he was unexpectedly detained by ICE at our home. His family and i were completed devastated. We had no experience upon what to do, who to call or any experience with immigration lawyers. We started searching around for lawyers online and around NY. Every single lawyer we encountered were completely negative and judgmental about his case. We found a young lawyer w/ not much experience but was very interested and postive about his case. She ended making several basic mistakes, not owning up to her mistakes and experimenting w/ my fiances case. On top of that completely overcharging us a substantial amount of money. It was a complete nightmare. Just when his family began to lose hope, I continued to search and ask whoever I can that may have experience with somthing like this and what to do. We were incredibly lucky to have been highly recommended to switch lawyers to Mr Berowitz. Upon our first meeting I immediatly knew he was the right person for this job. He is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, honest and intelligent. He knew which documents would be needed or missing. He was very reliable, calm and never stressful towards anyone involved. Not only was he excellent in person and preparing for the case. But he was even better representing him in court. He asked all the right questions, supportive documentation, and skills to address the judge. He won his case!!! And it was amazing and it felt like he was sent from heaven and saved my fiance's life. I came to USA in 1989 and got asylum four years after. Then I got some bad luck. A woman had me arrested. I get charge with felony. I had trial. Not convicted. I had second trial. Convicted. Many years I spend trying to become permanent resident. In my family, six people, and I am only one not citize...n. No one helped me. In 2007, with interview one week away, my lawyer said to me, I don't know more what I can do for you. He recommend Irwin Berowitz. We work together, apply with waiver, and get bad decision from Immigration. We do not give up. Mr. Berowitz said, We will file again and work hard together to get what you deserve. We did file again. Mr. Berowitz got all kind medical records, psychological records, bills, statements, and affidavits. We submit big waiver application with my application for green card. At interview, Mr. Berowitz spoke beautifully with the Officer, answering all questions like gentleman, always helping me. Even after interview, Mr. Berowitz and I went to different courts and offices to get more papers to help me. Mr. Berowitz handed those papers to Officer. Decision came in mail this Saturday. What good news! After 22 years, I am now permanent resident and will receive green card in the mail soon. I cried and I cried. My wife cried, too. Thank you Irwin Berowitz. You do great work
