Irwin J. Berowitz

I have had the privilege of knowing Mr. Irwin Berowitz for about 20 years. In the year 1993, my father hired Mr. Berowitz in regards to acquiring his naturalization. Over the course of the years, I have seen Mr. Berowitz put forth persistent diligence and hard work. He has devoted all his time and en...ergy towards litigating my fathers case. With his provided services, my father was granted his naturalization in the year 2016. My father and I are beyond grateful for all Mr. Berowitz has done for us. My first encounter with him was when I was only a baby. I have grown to know him throughout my years of middle school, high school, and currently, college. I personally am extremely grateful knowing that my father is here to stay. No father should be separated from his child, especially his daughter. Mr. Berowitz has eliminated that possibility. For that, we are truly thankful for all that he has done for us.

Meeting Mr Berowitz was simply the best experience we had, since my fiance, family and I encountered dealing with one of the most hardest times of our lives. My green card holder fiance had a very complicated criminal history but was never threatned by ICE to be deported. His record included alot of... petit/minor misdemeanors but nothing violent. One day he was unexpectedly detained by ICE at our home. His family and i were completed devastated. We had no experience upon what to do, who to call or any experience with immigration lawyers. We started searching around for lawyers online and around NY. Every single lawyer we encountered were completely negative and judgmental about his case. We found a young lawyer w/ not much experience but was very interested and postive about his case. She ended making several basic mistakes, not owning up to her mistakes and experimenting w/ my fiances case. On top of that completely overcharging us a substantial amount of money. It was a complete nightmare. Just when his family began to lose hope, I continued to search and ask whoever I can that may have experience with somthing like this and what to do. He is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, honest and intelligent. He knew which documents would be needed or missing. He was very reliable, calm and never stressful towards anyone involved. Not only was he excellent in person and preparing for the case. But he was even better representing him in court. He asked all the right questions, supportive documentation, and skills to address the judge. He won his case!!! And it was amazing and it felt like he was sent from heaven and saved my fiance's life. Since Mr. Irwin Berowitz helped my brother won deportation case in 2013, I have introduced both my cousin and my former neighbor, in China, to Mr. Berowitz, and both cases have resulted in success. I'm writing this review not because he has done a great job in all these case, I just think Mr. Berowit...z needs to be known to many, in the New York City area, who can benefit from his immigration service. He is very straight forward, hard working, and really knows what he's doing. On top of that, his fees are very reasonable. Let me briefly explain the the three cases he helped handle so far.  The first one was for my brother, who was facing deportation in 2013.  We hired Mr. Berowitz after meeting with many other lawyers, and I was so glad that we hired him to handle my brother's case. My brother was in immigration custody, and facing deportation, because of the fact that he had criminal convictions and he was only a green card holder.  He did serve his time for the crimes he committed. Mr. Berowitz went to visit my brother in jail several times, and had meetings with my family many times, to go over what exactly needed to be prepared.  He took a thorough, step by step approach.  During the whole process, IRWIN BEROWITZ responded to my texts or emails right away, which I really appreciated.  After Mr. Berowitz helped my brother win his deportation case, I introduced my cousin and my neighbor to Mr. Berowitz. My cousin and his wife had won their political asylum case in 2013, but never received their green cards, and were still waiting for their daughter to come to The United States, from China, to reunite with them. When my cousin told me that their lawyer said all they could do is just wait, because there are so many cases like this with the USCIS, and there was nothing they could do to expedite the case. I thought of Mr. Berowitz, called him, and explained the situation to him. We ended it up transferring my cousin's case to him and, within couple of weeks, Mr. Berowitz found out that one part of the USCIS did not know what another part was doing.  Mr. Berowitz helped connect different departments within the USCIS, wrote a complaint letter to the USCIS in Washington, D.C., and that really helped moved the needle. As a result, my cousin and his wife received their green cards, and their daughter immigrated to the USA from Mainland China last summer. We are all grateful for Mr. Berowitz's dedication. After my cousin's success story, my neighbor (from China) who's here in the USA, contacted me and told me about his immigration dilemma. He won his asylum case a couple years ago and was in the same boat as my cousin, that is, no response from the USCIS for a long time.  I introduced him to Mr. Berowitz, he transferred his case over to Mr. Berowitz, and within a few months, he received his green card.  All in all, I highly recommend Mr. Irwin Berowitz for immigration law service. He's honest, straight forward, very reasonable and very responsive. He knows immigration law very well, he knows what it takes to win the case, and he works hard on winning the case for his clients. 

I asked for asylum in 2000. Lost case and got removal order but never left USA. Father petition for me. Approved. 2012 came to see Irwin Berowitz. Hired him. After three years of marriage and one child, my wife started divorce proceedings against me. In the middle of all that, I needed to file Form I-751. A colleague suggested that I call Irwin Berowitz.
