Gandhar Savur

Gandhar Savur represents individuals and businesses on matters related to corporate, transactional, employment, intellectual property, and contract law.  In addition, he advises entrepreneurs, partners, shareholders, and investors on the creation of new companies and business ventures. He maintains active practices in both New York City and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Gandhar also has a wealth of experience in the music industry, particularly in the areas of licensing, recording agreements and publishing.  Gandhar’s roster of clients includes artists and entities in all areas of entertainment.  He currently serves as general counsel for a small group of music related companies, including television and film licensing company Bank Robber Music, music publishing company House of Hassle, and independent record label Ernest Jenning Record Co.  Before practicing law, Gandhar began his career in the licensing department of Matador Records.

Gandhar studied business at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, graduating in 2000 and earned his J.D. from St. John’s School of Law in 2005.  He is a member of the New York, New Jersey and Florida bar associations, and is an avid supporter of Arsenal Football Club.

Gandhar was named a 2013 Rising Star by Thompsons Reuters Superlawyers.
