Save your money !!!

I’ve had several frustrating experiences with Boris Kogan & Associates and feel compelled to share my concerns. Every time I called, I was told that the professional was "in a meeting" or "with a client." Most recently, I left my information with the receptionist, but I never received the promised fo...llow-up. To make matters worse, I overheard a staff member mention that the professional was actually "in the bathroom," and the receptionist responded with "I know." This left me feeling disrespected and misled. When I finally received a call back after 5 PM, the professional was eating while speaking with me. I politely asked if he could stop chewing, and his response was, "Sorry, I haven’t eaten all day and am famished." While I understand that people get busy, eating during a professional conversation is unprofessional. Additionally, once they have your payment, the eagerness to cooperate slows down significantly. Calls that were once returned promptly now take days to get a response, and communication has become inconsistent. The office lacks transparency, professionalism, and respect for clients’ time. The constant turnover of staff, lack of follow-through, and decline in service quality after payment make it difficult to trust that any issues will be handled appropriately. I cannot recommend this office based on my experience.

Worthless !!!

Retained Boris Kogan Waste of time and money very unprofessional !!! Paid the $ 2500 retainer . Every time i called to check the status - he had the nerve to be eating on the phone during the $ 400 call . After the first 30 min of showing off his Legal Jargon he then needed to explain in pla...in English which burned my retainer at both ends . On one side had to ask him to repeat because of his chewing , then on the other side having to explain the legal Jargon . So a call that would take 15 minutes took 60 minutes . I asked if its possible to call me back at a time when he was done eating , Response , I haven't eaten all day so now is the only time . During the 3 months of visiting the office to drop off paperwork ( every other week ) there were always new faces , people would always be coming and going never staying there longer then 2 weeks , The only one that was there the entire time was the receptionist which happens to be his mother . The office is Two rooms and a waiting room size of a closet which has a stale odor . When you call in to speak with Boris they say he stepped out - when clearly you can hear him fighting with his mother in the background because almost all the time she keeps reminding him about following up with clients . The reason why i gave 2 star and not 1 is because his waiting room ( which they make you stay in to appear that he is so busy ) is filled with magazines from Barber Shops and salons and catalogs such as Staples and Quill , So i happen to find a nice desk in the Quill catalog and used the $ 150 off coupon that was attached .

Trustworthy Attorney

I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Boris Kogan for over 17 years; however, he has represented my company and me since the inception of his firm . Over the years we have worked together on many different types of cases, each unique in their own way. He has been instrumental in helpin...g to recover large debts and equally effective in counseling me through difficult contracts and legalese. He is extremely knowledgeable about the law, yet has the ability to explain it in a simple, comprehensive manner. While Boris is more versed in the law than I am he listens to my comments and ideas about approaching a case and never forces us in a direction that I am uncomfortable with. Boris is attentive to the details involved and is thorough and responsive in his replies --this is an asset not easy to find but immensely appreciated. Boris is a professional who is dedicated and eager to assist. If you are seeking counsel, I highly recommend Boris Kogan. You will not be disappointed.
