I represent clients on everything from driving without a license to petit theft to drug sales to robberies to homicides. I have argued and won appeals in the First Department and the 2nd Circuit. It is not the primary area of my practice, but I give 100% to the client towards getting the right result!

I enjoy pursuing actions against defendants that violate the civil rights of clients. Lawyers who do this work are the check on a society that has not come as far as it claims to have come, particularly when it comes to police brutality. I obtained a settlement for the family of an ex-convict killed by a cop after releasing a 12 year old girl who he was holding at knifepoint (and he had a arrest warrant pending connected to an incident with the girl's mother).

Although it is not my primary area of practice, from time to time I advise clients on contractual issues. For example, I had a singer/client who had an awful management contract with a somewhat high profile manager. I parsed the contract and her records and assisted the client in getting out of the contract due to the manager's breach of the terms. She is now doing very well with her career.
