Mark E. Seitelman is the principal attorney of Mark E. Seitelman Law Offices, P.C., a New York City personal injury firm with offices on Broadway in Lower Manhattan, the Lower East Side, and the Upper East Side. He has been practicing law since 1980 and has handled over 10,000 client matters.
Mark began his career as a law assistant to Acting Supreme Court Justice Aaron D. Bernstein (Supreme Court, Kings County), then spent six years at the insurance defense firm Lester Schwab Katz & Dwyer, handling insurance coverage, personal injury defense, and products liability matters. That experience on the defense side gives him insight into how insurance companies evaluate and defend claims, which he now uses on behalf of injured clients.
The firm represents people injured in car, truck, motorcycle, bicycle, rideshare, and pedestrian accidents; slip and falls and sidewalk accidents; construction and workplace accidents; dog bites; and traumatic brain injuries. It also handles life insurance and first-party insurance claim disputes.
Mark serves on the Board of Directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, has taught and chaired CLE courses for the New York State Trial Lawyers Institute, and is a contributing editor and writer for NYSTLA's Bill of Particulars. He is admitted in New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. He earned his B.A. from Brooklyn College and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
