Katherine L Strych

Katherine L. Strych is an Associate Attorney at Phillips & Associates, PLLC, where she represents employees in matters involving workplace discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination. She is dedicated to helping clients understand their rights and guiding them through the legal process with compassion and determination.

Before joining Phillips & Associates, Ms. Strych served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Ana C. Viscomi, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division. In that role, she assisted in managing Judge Viscomi’s statewide asbestos docket and other complex civil cases, prepared memoranda of law with legal recommendations, and supported the court’s handling of class actions and mass tort matters.

While in law school, Ms. Strych gained extensive experience in employment and civil litigation. As a Law Clerk at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C., she conducted client meetings and analyzed potential discrimination and retaliation claims. She also represented low-income clients through Seton Hall Law’s Civil Litigation Clinic, where she handled landlord-tenant cases under attorney supervision. Ms. Strych also interned with the New Jersey Reentry Corporation, where she conducted legal research and prepared a report on improving reentry services for participants with disabilities, and with the Honorable Stephen L. Petrillo, Superior Court of New Jersey, where she authored legal memoranda on a wide range of civil motions.

Ms. Strych earned her Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she received a Distinguished Scholarship, a full merit-based tuition award. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Diplomacy and International Relations, magna cum laude, from Seton Hall University, with a minor in Asian Studies.

She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
