Alexander Phillip Herd

Alexander Herd has been an associate attorney at the Tendy Law Office since December 2016. The Tendy Law Office is a boutique firm that serves as outside general counsel for small businesses and nonprofit organizations in New York. Alexander concentrates his practice on starting new companies and nonprofits and operating existing businesses, including services such as choosing the right type of entity, drafting bylaws, creating internal policies, and ensuring compliance with both New York Corporations Law and New York Not for Profit Corporations Law. 

Alexander also has litigation and trademark experience, including registering trademarks, appealing decisions of the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and representing clients in cases involving claims for Civil RICO, fraud, trademark violations under the Lanham Act, defamation and wage theft, among others. 

Prior to joining the Tendy Law Office, Alexander worked as an associate attorney at BahnMulter LLP and Studin Young PC. He is committed to using his varied and intricate experience at boutique firms to help people accomplish their dreams of running their own businesses or nonprofit organizations.
