Shanti Wynonna Hubbard

Shanti has handled hundreds of criminal defense cases and has extensive courtroom advocacy and trial experience. Shanti also assists small businesses and entrepreneurs with business formation, protecting intellectual property rights and contract review. She is a fearless advocate and fights for her clients inside and outside the courtroom. She has secured favorable outcomes for clients, including dismissal of felony charges following a suppression hearing victory, dismissals based on legal insufficiency, grand jury dismissals and Not Guilty verdicts at trial. 

Prior to forming Chan Hubbard in 2014, Shanti worked at the Bronx Defenders, a premier New York criminal defense and civil litigation office and taught trial advocacy at Georgetown Law School. Shanti has also worked for top ten law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom in their intellectual property and commercial litigation practices. Before law school, she  was a paralegal at the national ACLU headquarters civil rights division. Shanti graduated from New York University School of Law with honors and attended Harvard University for college.
