We all know collection agencies are vicious. They make your life miserable and adds unnecessary stress. This is why I hired Jesse to handle to a lien my parents had on their home. I initially called the collection agency to work something out. However, they were being being very pushy in getting ...my parents' banking information. I knew better than playing into their trap. I was not comfortable in paying anything until I have a letter on the agreed terms from the agency. Their timeline and reasoning were unrealistic (we can't email the letter to you, can only fax or mail it to you). Seriously, who has fax machines nowadays and it takes 24 hours to send it?
