Biography
Anthoula is a Partner at Gutman Vasiliou, LLP. Anthoula graduated summa cum laude from Fordham College at Rose Hill (B.A. in Sociology and International Political Economy) and Fordham University School of Law (J.D.). At Fordham Law, Anthoula was a Stein Scholar in the Public Interest and a recipient of the Archibald R. Murray Public Service Award. Anthoula served as the President of the Education Law Collaborative and Director of the Fordham chapter of the Suspension Representation Project. She also volunteered as a high school debate coach for Legal Outreach and was a member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal.
Anthoula’s focus on education law throughout her legal studies fostered a passion for working with families, particularly in underserved communities, to ensure that students with disabilities receive a free appropriate public education. Anthoula is a native of Queens, New York and speaks Greek fluently.
