Valerie Van Leer-Greenberg

I hired her for a divorce, and the number of mistakes she made was appalling.She didn't notice that my wife had a pension that I had rights to. She included my separate property in division of assets because she couldnt keep accounts straight. I got a second opinion because some things she told me th...at didn't sound right and I was told she was plain wrong on the law.She describes herself as tough but crumples on the spot and in front of the judge when huge decisions are being discussed and negotiated. She was visibly flustered and afraid of my wife's lawyer.She is tough and obnosxious with her clients but not when it matters in Court and negotiations. Maybe her rep is from heryounger yrs but now she relies on her son and is nothing that I expected.I gave her all of my savings to harm me and my kids.Run.

I was referred to Valerie years ago by a friend. She was much more interested in "handling" me than defending me. She is a complete pain in the ass to deal with and her condescension is bordering on self-sabotage. There's no other explanation for it. Her thoughts are unfocused and she clearly doesn't... really care about the outcome of the case. I insisted that I be handed-off to her husband, which see agreed to do. The issue was a minor one, so it all worked out. But, if you have a serious issue, don't spend a single second considering Valerie or this law office. Look elsewhere.

I consulted this lawyer for legal advice with my wife. She was attentive but paternalistic and mostly ranted about how to proceed instead of explaining the legal process or explain options. The office was a funny farm of tacky screeching family members and and sad looking administrators. We fled and ...hired someone more professional. She was cheap but you get what you pay for.

I met with Mrs. Van Leer-Greenberg via a recommendation from a friend. I entered without any assumptions or bias, and left with a terrible taste in my mouth. My interaction with Mrs. Van Leer-Greenberg was likely the most unprofessional of my adult life (and I'm not one to speak hyperbolically nor am... I one for confrontation/drama). She spoke to me in regards to a legal matter as if I were a teenager. She was condescending and offensive. She was more intent on teaching me a moral lesson than providing the services I was paying for. I wouldn't recommend her in a thousand years and wonder how she has the reputation she has.
