Steven and his team literally saved my life. I had been dealing with the IRS, largely on my own, for about 15 years -- making payments, receiving threatening letters, having my bank accounts periodically wiped. The "help" I had been receiving at times from other so-called tax professionals left me ...thinking I would never climb out of the hole because it never seemed to get better. I found Goldburd McCone a few years ago, and from the very first phone call with Steven, I knew I would finally be ok. He was on my side and I knew it right away! The team are always there when I need them; no question or concern too big or too small. There was never any judgement. There was always good-natured discussions - even at my most stressful moments (e.g. stranded in Buffalo while trying to renew my passport where, instead of renewing, the IRS confiscated). During these times, they would put me at ease and even make me laugh (Steven: "If I can get a client home from Germany, I can get you home from Buffalo."). They worked with the IRS on my behalf and resolved my issues. I am finally, after nearly 18 years, on the other side of this horror. And I owe it all to this team. I needed an tax attorney to make sure my overseas bank account was going to meet all requirements for the Fatca back in 2012. Steven was easy to deal with, got straight to the point on what would need to be verified as documentation goes and was very knowledgeable to all that pertains to overseas tax... law matters both Federal and NY's. His card is in my wallet. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to have piece of mind their tax liabilities are in check if they have funds in other countries.
