Seth Ian Katz

I hired Seth in March 2015 to handle a license suspension issue for me. At first, he was very responsive, always personally answering the phone and responding to emails. He diligently took my information, had me sign a retainer and then charged my credit card for the fee he quoted of $850. After t...hat, I never heard from him again. I called about 10 times, left 2 voice mails, and emailed 2 times. By April I had given up, and in my final voicemail said that the uncommunicative way in which he has conducted himself had led me to no longer require his services, and that I would like a full refund. Of course, I have not heard back. I am currently exercising all available legal recourse to recover the money.

Hired him to do 2 things: (1) advise on a traffic violation matter and (2) appear in court on my behalf. He did neither. Also wouldn't respond to calls or emails. Charged me $500 up front for essentially valueless service. I had to call the court to find out that the fine was paid on my behalf a year... later. The fine wasn't even all that expensive (under $100). I could have done that myself! Bottom line - stay far, far away from this guy, his practice is a total sham.
