Signed up with Katz to handle a speeding ticket, gave my credit card and first hearing date was postponed. They never showed up at court for the rescheduled hearing date. You can't speak to a person and can only leave a voice message. Phone calls are never returned. Do NOT use this law firm. The...y need to be put out of business!!

The fact that this attorney has two and a half stars is too many. If I can give negative stars I definitely would. First of all he will take your money and will not do the work he is supposed accomplish. He is by far the most unprofessional, the least knowledgeable attorney I have ever worked with. I... wholeheartedly regret hiring him. I know a couple of people who also used him and they feel the same way. Just look at his google reviews. I'll put it in laymen terms, if you want points and tickets in your DNV record sure go with this guy, however if you want professional, attentive, knowledgeable lawyer, stay away from Seth Katz and his associates. We spent over a thousand dollars combined and he did nothing, he could even get extension for us. Honestly getting extensions are super easy through the DMV site however we are very busy with work and whatever else that's why we hire an attorney to do this for us but he couldn't even do that. But yo mention if you ever want to get in touch with him after they process your cc it will take you at least 10 calls 10 messages, and even then he still ignores you. He is very rude, has no idea what tact is either.

Don't be fooled by this one! When you call he will be charming and take your case and your money. That will be the last time you ever speak with Seth Katz. After that you will get a recorded message and they will never return your call!!!!! If you're lucky you will speak with Kate (another lawyer...) who will promise you anything you want to hear or John who will make excuses and give you reasons why no one has returned your calls even though they have taken your money! They never showed up to court for me and my license was suspended and neither they or I knew it!!!! They claim it was a "computer error" but in fact it is because they are incompetent and are only interested in taking your money!!!! Don't be fooled by these people. After 17 calls (and promises) I eventually got my money back, but all a complete waste of time!

The Katz Law Firm group was very effective for my needs. They were able to keep my ticket from going to trial for just shy of two years. Once at trial, they got my ticket reduced. I am very pleased with the results. The law firm was a little slow to respond sometimes, but they do respond eventuall...y. Sometimes I would have to follow up to get a response, but they always had all of the information I needed when they responded. Seth was also a little curt at times, but I've come to expect this from nearly every attorney that I've spoken to regarding a minor traffic ticket.
