Dan Reed Halper

My name is Michael Kane. I am a teacher for the New York City public school system specializing in the education of children with multiple and severe disabilities. I have known Dan Halper for almost 8 years. We met on account of work we were both doing for a public access television program. At t...he time, he was a licensed attorney but did not yet have an active practice. I have often relied on Dan for legal services and advice especially in relation to my needs in regard to my adopted son who came to the Untied States from Honduras and has had to work through issues of child abuse that he experienced in Honduras and associated developmental problems. Dan has always accomplished this work with patience and care, and has never charged me more than a very reasonable fee.
