FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART

I recommend Dennis Mulligan without hesitation as a trustworthy, responsive and knowledgeable immigration law specialist for your visa, green card, citizenship applications and more. My story was a bit tricky, since I was forced to flee my country in fear, with a visitor’s visa, because of the s...ecret police and internal politics. When I arrived in the US and started gathering information about my case, a friend of mine who knew the local lawyers better advised me to meet with Dennis Mulligan, who at that time was serving as the Executive Director of Nationalities Service Center and had been head of the immigration legal program there. I still remember that Tuesday in 2011 when Dennis met with me for the first time. He brought out the summary of my story I submitted in advance and which he already knew perfectly. In a convincing voice he promised to represent me and I felt very glad then that I was obtaining assistance from one of the most recommended immigration attorneys who would help me apply for asylum status. The week after we met we started working together on the basis of a clearly defined schedule, step by step until we finalized everything after a couple of months. During the whole process, Dennis demonstrated that he really possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills. The day of the interview he was able to recall all the important details of my 32 pages affidavit and meticulously presented that complex information before the Asylum Officer. I was granted asylum status straightaway and three months later he helped bring my entire family, made up of five people, in another application which also granted them asylee relatives’ status. Mr Mulligan has experience working with people from all walks of life and countries. He can easily communicate with the appropriate embassy or the designated USICS office, follow- up all your applications, represents you in person, offer you the counsel and support you deserve.

Experience and Reliability

My experience with Dennis Mulligan was very positive, enriching, and beyond satisfaction. I met with Dennis when he served as Executive Director of the Nationalities Service Center (NSC) in Philadelphia. A friend of mine introduced me and I am very happy he served as my immigration counsel. There is ...no doubt that I would recommend Dennis to anyone seeking an immigration lawyer. Indeed I have told several people about him and they are ready to meet with him based on my personal experience with him. I highly recommend Dennis for multiple reasons. First, my case (asylum application) concluded successfully and faster than expected. Second, Dennis proved to me to be very methodical. His ethics was customer-centered, meaning that he met with me at least three times before he submitted following my approval the application to USCIS. All the meetings consisted of him explaining with facts and past cases the complexities of my asylum application (j-1 visa holder) with regard to immigration regulations. I was a J-1 visa holder subjected to the two-year home residency requirements but who was at risk of persecution and torture upon returning to the Ivory Coast on the basis of political opinion. Dennis offered me insights that other lawyers did not give me. What is more the advice he gave me corroborated what i read myself. This I found very comforting and reassuring. Third, Dennis has more than 30 year of practice and he is very knowledgeable about African issues and African cultures. As a Peace Corpse Alumni, Dennis has a great command of African politics and African cultures. He reads a lot about world politics and international migration issues. He also speaks French very well also, which makes him highly reliable and trustworthy. I believe that his ability to relate to the experience of his customers enhances the quality of the service he offers. I was happy to converse with him in French during our meetings and to talk African affairs. For me, this created a secure bond. The fourth reason why I highly recommend Dennis is his belief in human development. The years he served in NSC, a non-profit organization that serves immigrants illustrates his humanism and his inclination to help immigrants and individuals become better citizens of the United States and of the World. In terms of his ethics, I commend Dennis for his promptitude and the celerity with which he kept me abreast of the communication with the immigration services and the progression of my case. Emails and phone calls were the two means he used to communicate with me as soon as it was necessary to set an appointment or to meet. When the case concluded, Dennis called me within 10 minutes of him receiving the news from the asylum office. He left a message and sent me an email immediately. Aside from my wonderful experience with him, I am also aware of the satisfaction he provided to the numerous customers that the Coalition of African Communities in Philadelphia (I am the president of this Community Based Organization) referred to him. Many reported they were happy with his work ethics. Upon his departure from NSC, the members of the Coalition honored him for his service. I highly recommend Dennis Mulligan because he is reliable, personable, and knowledgeable. He is the best immigration lawyer I have ever met and worked with.
