A week ago Friday I received a very difficult call from a cousin living in New York who informed me she had short time to live and had not had an opportunity to get her affairs in order. Her wish was to spend her remaining time in Korea and time was of the essence. The Friday before Thanksgiving we...ekend (the day after week connected) Cori went to her hospital bed and started the process of getting our POA and last will and testament in order. Less than a week later my cousin is boarding a plane accompanied by a doctor from travel doctors with her affairs in order for whatever may come. I couldn't be more satisfied with Cori as my lawyer. I've had dealings with lawyers before and while they've been satisfactory they simply did what was required. Cori is a warm, friendly person that explains everything to you, makes sure you see the technical aspects, and does it in a relaxed manne...r so that you don't feel you want to rush and get it over with quickly. She did my will as well as a friend's. She came to the apt. for him, brought an assistant to serve as witness on the documents and, since she is a notary as well, took care of that aspect of the proceedings as well. She came for a consultation for both me and my friend, explained everything, sent preliminary copies of the documents, and then returned with the final ones to sign. Her fees were very reasonable in comparison form what I hear others charge. Moreover, she is always ready to offer advice on legal matters if asked. All in all, I cannot think of a better lawyer and, singing her praises, I have recommended her to other friends as well.
