With over 31 years of experience in legal and financial fields as a Lawyer and Certified Public Accountant with a Masters of Tax Law at the Law Offices of Stephen B. Kass, P.C. I have extensive experience representing businesses and high-net-worth individuals in tax controversies and reorganization. I have filed and confirmed multiple Chapter 11 cases and developed strategies addressing severe tax and financial challenges. My work is driven by a commitment to excellence and providing innovative solutions for real estate and tax-related challenges.

In the past few years, I have done a lot of NY sales tax workouts resulting in over $25M in savings with extended payouts using NYS's offer program.

I also work on individual cases involving high tax debt needing tailored resolution plans.

I formerly worked for the international tax consulting firms Marcum, LLP and Deloitte & Touch, LLP providing tax controversy or tax resolution services for years.

I have a JD from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and an LLM in Taxation from New York University School of Law.

I am admitted to the Bars of New York State, New Jersey State, and the Federal courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and also admitted to Tax Court and the U.S. Supreme Court.
