The firm has also introduced Visiting Lawyer Services. VLS is now available to New Yorkers that are homebound or unable to travel to a lawyer. With VLS our lawyers come to you. There’s no longer a need to coordinate aides, transfers, or transportation as you won’t need it. If witnesses are needed for signing documents we also arrange for them to be with us. Other family members or loved ones may be present as well. This has been very helpful for elder couples–as is often the case with elders, one spouse may be healthy and agile yet the other quite limited.
‘Not being burdened by travel time or hindered by physical ability also allows seniors to focus better on their legal needs. We’ve taken our hands-on approach, compassion, and legal prowess to the next level’ - Brian

As a care manager I can not thank you enough, and your team from the receptionist and beyond who cared and followed up with not just me, but my parents. Leaving your office with them smiling meant alot. The recommendation to you is very appreciated.

Brian Raphan’s law firm is one I would never recommend to anyone. He did not, in my opinion, serve my mentally challenged elderly parents in what I consider to be an honest, ethical manner. He doesn't care much about his clients and their actual needs.

Brian Raphan has just completed a very lengthy and complicated process of creating a trust for my grandson. Due to my advanced age and medical issues I am not able to really get out easily so we have never met in person and our communication has generally just been via email. Normally that would be c...

Relationship: Worked together on matter
"I have worked with attorney Brian Raphan on several issues related to Elder Care and Nursing Home issues. He has always impressed me with his skill, knowledge and ability. In a world where most are looking out for themselves, Brian is an advocate for his client's best interests first. I whole-heartedly endorse Brian Raphan."
"Brian is a talented and personable lawyer who cares about his clients. I recommend him for any trust or estate matter."
"I highly recommend Brian A. Raphan for your estate planning, wills and related needs. He is highly ethical, intelligent, and a truly nice person."
"An extremely talented and well respected attorney in the legal community, I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a lawyer who knows the law and truly cares about protecting the rights of his clients and getting them the most favorable result possible."
"Brian Raphan provides a combination of extensive knowledge and experience while providing the necessary attention and sensitivity in that estate practice requires. Brian is fair, aggressive, and meticulous in his preparation of critical and complex legal documentation. When other lawyers or judges need estate planning, a trust or a will, they go to Brian Raphan."
"Brian Raphan has done estate planning (Wills, Health Care Proxies, and Powers of Attorney) for my wife and me, and has also done estate planning (Wills, Trusts and Health Care Proxies) for my parents. Unfortunately, I also had to hire him recently to handle my father's estate after my father passed away. He is particularly skilled in estate planning, and you get real personal attention which you do not find at a medium or large firm. Plus, the rates charged by his firm are quite reasonable. I also know that he has handled numerous estate litigations. Whenever a colleague or family member asks about estate planning issues, I always refer them to Brian, and I have always received positive feedback."
