Paula Menar was incredible! I had a temporary restraining order and the judge advised me to seek counsel when my ex asked for an extension to get a lawyer. Paula was referred to me by a friend. She was an absolute shark in the courtroom! My ex is a very charismatic person and a pathological liar.... Like most pathological liars he is very convincing. So many times before when I tried to bring up things that he had done no one believed me. Paula caught him in lie after lie. She was so skillful at what she does that not only did she catch him in his lies she had him admit to the lies without him even realizing what he was doing! He was revealed for the controlling, abusive, narcissist that he is. The things I had to talk about were painful and embarrassing but Paula helped me through my time on the stand with a great amount of compassion while remaining professional. That is a hard balance to achieve but she nailed it. My final restraining order was granted. My life in the past 10 months since our court date has improved beyond belief. I’m not getting texts every 30 seconds. I’m not waking up to find him in my house even though the doors were locked. I have had no communication from him whatsoever. I never imagined life could be this peaceful, this joyful, this stress-free. I don’t think I could have gotten to this point without Paula as my lawyer in the courtroom. She helped change my life for the better. I strongly recommend Menar & Menar.
