Best of the Best

If you are looking for an attorney that has the experience, the knowledge and will treat you and your case with attention to detail and a passion to win - this is your guy. Jay has helped me and my family numerous times for both mediation and motor vehicle violations. His ability to look at the fac...ts unique to each case and then communicate them as events that the court understands in a way that stands out in compelling and compassionate manner - is a honed art that Jay takes great pride in. He is a master at his craft and has the confidence to convince and persuade with respect and without appearing arrogant – a vital balance required in most courtrooms when facing a judge. He will turn potentially life-changing situations into something people can deal with and accept with great relief. He will do it fairly - and with a lesson to help ensure that one understands how to prevent misfortunate situations (or bad decisions) in the future. I highly recommend him and would trust no one with outcome in a courtroom more. This is your guy.

Great lawyer!

I recently hired Jay for a marijuana possession and contraband charges in Woodbridge Municipal Court in NJ. He was great! He was able to get all charges discharged with pretty much just a fine. I am definitely NOT the criminal type and this was my first time in court. Jay made the whole process a LOT... easier on me. He talked me through the whole thing and was understanding on my anxiety. He answered all of my emails and calls right away and even spent time talking to me on the phone AFTER the case ended. I got a feeling like he actually wanted the best for me.... NOT what I expected from a lawyer. I would definitely use him again, although I hope I never have to!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
