First the mechanics - in my business dealings i found it very unusable to get call backs promptly. Not so with Ed. Not only did he call back SAME DAY, more often it was a fuller email - again SAME DAY. At times when necessary i called Ed when he was IN COURT for other people's matters and he alway...s called back at the first break in activities. His calmness and quiet strength in our sensitive matter was not only reassuring but prevented us from becoming caught in a downward spiral of doubt and fear. He took on that burden allowing us to rest assured that he had our concerns and interests at the top of his list. Second - the resolution. Ed was terrific in the days, weeks and months leading up to mediation. He anticipated each defense move and successfully steered their requests down the narrow path he had laid out for us from the beginning. His skill at leading the defense in the direction he wanted them to go allowed us to reach a successful mediation without going to trial. At one point in the mediation we had a difficult decision to make - he sensed that and offered a very innovative way around the decision that actually advanced us further down the path than otherwise possible. Last. I hope to never see Ed again professionally because it would mean involvement in a legal matter. But if i find myself in that position, i have Ed's cell number in my phone and i have full confidence in him.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
