Jose M. Cameron

Jose Cameron is an attorney in private practice since 1978 specializing in personal injury and commercial litigation.  A life long resident of Perth Amboy,  Jose graduated from Perth Amboy High School in 1972 and currently resides in Perth Amboy, New Jersey with his children, Ryan and Eric.

     Jose appreciates the educational experiences that Perth Amboy provided which helped prepare him to graduate from Montclair State College with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in mathematics in only three years.  He continued his education at Rutgers Law School graduating and being admitted to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars in 1978.

     Mr. Cameron lives a full life, feeling that service to his community is important.  Currently, Jose is Chairman of the Puerto Rican Association for Human Development, Inc., Municipal Court Judge for the City of Perth Amboy, a member of the Office of Attorney Ethics-Disciplinary Review Board and member of an Attorney Fee Arbitration Committee - Office of Attorney Ethics.

     Mr. Cameron's goals are to continue to serve his community, especially the underprivileged, senior citizens, and educationally deprived through his involvement in community programs such as the Puerto Rican Association for Human Development, Perth Amboy Adult School Advisory Committee and Perth Amboy Baseball and Basketball Youth League Sponsor. 

     He feels there is a special need to provide quality education, especially for economically deprived bilingual students in order to insure their developmental growth in our society, especially through such agencies as the Puerto Rican Association for Human Development.  Mr. Jose Cameron works with other local professionals to provide role models as well as leadership to the community and its youth.
