OUTSTANDING IMMIGRATION EXPERIENCE - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

I honestly cannot say enough positives about Laurie, even as someone who has worked as a paralegal for an immigration attorney myself, and had been considering doing the filing myself to save money. On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, she gets 10,000 from me. Laurie helped my wife and stepson (originally... from Colombia) to immigrate successfully to the U.S., while we were all living in China. Now, in large part due to Laurie's hard work, we are all together in the incredible and beautiful USA! Laurie responded to every single question I had about the process, anticipated and planned well. We communicated often and as necessary via e-mail, phone, and Skype, and I felt confident our case was being handled well. With Laurie, everything went smoothly, quickly, and successfully! In fact, had I been able to gather the required documents quicker, it would have gone even faster. I feel that because of Laurie's help, there were no avoidable delays. The consular officer even approvingly said her filing was "nice and tight" upon submittal. After our interview and approval, Laurie kept in touch and made sure all our needs and requirements were taken care of and anticipated. Plus, she's a great, humble, and kind person, and has an amazing intellect. She is simply the most extraordinary attorney I have ever had the pleasure of personally knowing. Easy to work with and incredibly efficient. When I think of all this at the extremely economical fee, it's just even more amazing. I searched very hard to find Laurie. We are SO glad Laurie was our immigration lawyer.

Responsible & Truly Helpful

Words can not describe my gratitude. I hired Laurie to do my K-1 fiancé visa and my green card which we all know it was a rough process. I will give a thousand reasons to hire her but I will just list a few below based on my experience: 1. She is multi-lingual. She speaks fluent Chinese (Canto...nese & Mandarin) and English which allows a smooth communication. 2. Before I hired her, she was already giving very good consultation and advice based on my situation. She gave good explanation about the difference between doing the K-1 fiancé visa and the CR-1. 3. She is very responsible and informed me what to do at different stages, which makes a complicated process easy to handle. You can finish it worry-free. She gave very thorough follow-up details both after I got the K-1 fiancé visa and the green card. 4. She has a friendly demeanor. The communication was pleasant. 5. She is prompt in replying back to emails. She will contact the USCIS for you should you have any questions at the best time the process allowed. She will keep you updated about your case. For example when she receives a government notice for your case or updates on the USCIS website, she will tell you what to do next with no delay. 6. She will do all her best to help within her ability, for example, calling my joint sponsor (sensitive about providing paperwork) to explain why we needed particular documents while we were doing the K-1 visa. It wasn’t an easy conversation, but she did try over and over again to explain. 7. She is very thorough about the documents needed and the document lists in emails for each stage are very clear, you won’t miss anything. 8. She is very experienced in what she is doing. I was a Chinese Communist Party member. With her help and experience in dealing with similar situation, it didn’t affect me too much in getting the K-1 visa and green card. You don’t have to spend time reading thousands of government documents. She has all the answers you need :) My husband and I really thank her a lot for helping us to get the K-1 visa and then the green card successfully which allow us to live in the United States together.

Attentive and Responsive

Working with Laurie has been a good experience from start to finish. Laurie replies to our requests in a timely manner and is familiar with our needs and our particular circumstances because she takes the time to get to know her clients. When choosing someone in any field, not only legal, I loo...k for attention to details. Laurie provides the level of detail I expect from a professional and I have referred her to several people who are in need of her services; I know that my referral will also receive the same excellent service we experienced. We hired Laurie to assist us in the process of a fiance visa. Throughout the process Laurie kept us well informed and was always 1 or 2 steps ahead of the requirements that would ultimately be needed during the government process. This was a tremendous help in eliminating some unnecessary wait times. This proactive behavior was exactly what we were looking for when hiring an attorney. We are now in the process of citizenship and have been able to work with Laurie. We wouldn't choose anyone else to work with during this process! We highly recommend Laurie Wu.

Waiver Process

I am from Zambia, Central Africa. My husband and I first hired Laurie in 2012 to work on our K2 visa and she was very professional, even after we were denied she advised us on the different options that were available to us, she never gave up on us. After a long and tedious process, our last and only... option was to apply for a Waiver. Laurie took her time in preparing the waiver and she explained the whole process to us in detail. She responded to our emails in a timely manner and answered all our questions and concerns. We were finally approved after 5 years of a long tedious visa process, and I was able to spend Christmas with my husband in the United States.

Spousal Visa

My wife and I hired Laurie Wu to help my wife return to the US on a Spousal Visa from China. My wife previously came to the US on a K-1 visa in 2011, which Laurie also helped us on. We filed for removal of conditions ourselves and while the application was pending, my wife had to return home to care... for her mother and we didn't respond to the government's request for additional evidence in time. For the Spousal Visa application, we attempted it on our own for a few weeks, but discovered we were in over our heads with deciding which forms to use, and even how to properly and accurately provide some of the required information. Laurie provided us with all of the required forms (completing some of them for us), carefully explained what supporting documents to provide, and even where to locate most of it. During the entire process, Laurie patiently responded to our numerous questions and concerns, often on weekends and several evenings as well. My wife had a successful Visa Interview about 3 days ago, thanks to Laurie. She'll have her Visa very shortly and will be returning to the US in a month or so. We appreciate all the time Laurie spent with us, and would truly recommend her to anyone.
