Laurie is on the ball. She led my wife through the 18-month process of applying for US citizenship. I acted as intermediary between my wife and Laurie. My wife had had her green card for 10 years prior to initiating the citizenship process. Laurie orchestrated the process, prepared all forms and ...materials for submission to USCIS, reviewed my wife’s materials to ensure that they would be received in good order, monitored my wife’s USCIC account, intercepted notices from the USCIS and kept us up to date, and prepared my wife for the final interview. All of this was done via email and live telephone sessions. During these 18 months, we broadsided Laurie with several changes of mailing and physical addresses for both the applicant and the sponsor, as well as with the expiration of my wife’s green card 12 months in. I viewed the process as an exercise in filling out forms and submitting them to USCIS, and then following up. That’s easier said than done… the process as riddled with myriad pitfalls and booby traps. Laurie ensured that the forms were filled out properly and confirmed receipt of documents by USCIS in good order. Laurie notified me that the USCIS had scheduled my wife’s swearing in / oath ceremony within five minutes of the actual notice being generated… (I know because my wife had texted me from the USCIS office one minute prior to receiving the same information from Laurie). That’s contemporaneous on steroids. Laurie is thorough, comprehensive, detail oriented, and responsive. She gets a perfect five star rating by me!
