I called for a consultation and he was nothing but rude. I couldn't even properly explain what my issue was without him interrupting me and cutting me off. He tried to make me feel stupid and then tried mansplaining to me. No way in hell would I waste my time with someone who can't even be respectful... over the phone.

Anonymous is absolutely right. I personally take every call. You speak with a lawyer free and with no obligation. I remain on the phone with you for up to an hour asking tough, pertinent questions first to determine what your present situation is, and then to learn how you got there. Most love getting free and immediate counsel, including learning when and where you went wrong. Some callers are unable to directly answer a question such as, "What is the most substantial problem you are having with the car, today?" I require a short specific description of only today's issue to determine if the vehicle NOW is "substantially impaired in use, value, or safety." Had Anonymous hung on a little longer, she'd have discovered I really had her best interest at heart and she'd have had her rights explained, her likelihood of success, suggested paths with and without an attorney, and likely costs. But I was gruff. I'm sorry.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
