Salvatore P. DiFazio

Sal DiFazio earned his J.D. degree from Seton Hall School of Law in 1977. He soon joined the firm of Graham, Yurasko, Golden and Lintner. He became a full partner in the firm of Golden, Lintner, Rothschild, Spagnola & DiFazio in 1982. During his tenure with GLRS&D he litigated and/or resolved matters in diverse areas of practice, including family matters, Plaintiff’s and Defendant’s personal injury cases, employment related matters, commercial and corporate litigation, land use matters and criminal defense matters. He also acted as municipal prosecutor in two different municipalities. In 1988 Mr. DiFazio became a certified agent of the National Basketball Association and the National Football League. He represented multiple players in the negotiation of their player contracts and the handling of their personal legal needs while continuing his duties at GLRS&D.  By 1995 he had  reached the conclusion that the diversity of his practice, his continued representation of athletes, his need for more flexibility and his desire for a more personal relationship with his clients made it necessary for him to leave GLRS&D.Since that time he has continued to practice in multiple areas of law, at the highest levels in both the State and Federal courts. During his 35 years of practice he has tried matters of all sorts. He tried the first televised case in New Jersey history, involving a case of first impression. He was admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, where the ruling he recovered marked the first time that a Property Settlement Agreement was ever vacated. He has handled trials and negotiations, often netting his clients millions of dollars. He has argued before the Superior Courts in three jurisdictions, the United States District Court, the United States Court of Appeals and the Federal Court of Special Claims. He is admitted to practice in these courts as well as the United States Supreme Court.
