Weak, passive and all around unresponsive
Stitzler represented my father who made an impulsive decision to hire him without consultation with anyone. Stitzler took advantage of my father and resented any contact with those family members who were more knowledgeable of the system. He wasn't responsive throughout proceedings or even after the...
I would like to thank AVVO for allowing me to respond to the negative review recently posted by the family member of a former client. Let me begin by offering my sincere condolences for the loss of her father. Her father, my client, came to me in 2011 after being charged with first degree sex crimes against another underage family member. He was facing 20 years in a New Jersey State Prison. I was able to have that time reduced to 3 years. How is this taking advantage of someone? Similarly, those family members “who had more knowledge of the system,” was in fact the AVVO complainant who worked as the functional equivalent of a police officer, not an attorney. The party that submitted the review was not my client but rather His daughter. In fact she made a statement against her father, and was listed as a witness for the State. She told the police that she believed that her father had sexually violated this underage family member. How can this person claim that I was weak and ineffective when my client was facing 20 years in State Prison and I got him 3 years? Additionally, the lien remained on the property, not because I failed to file paperwork, but because she failed to pay a $20 fee to have it removed. For those of you who have taken the time to read this response, please visit my website at www.sitzlerlaw.com and read the many unsolicited testimonials of former clients attesting to the great, and in many cases, life changing legal representation provided to them by me and all of the members of my team.
