At the advice of our real estate agent, we hired Chandra mid-way through the process of purchasing our first home. We were under contractor on a home that is nearly 150 years old, in need of some repairs to secure a CO, the home had been unoccupied for at least a year and the owner's lived across the... country. When we learned that Chandra was local and also had a background in real estate we knew that we wanted to secure her as our attorney. Our visit to her office was unannounced, but she was gracious with her time in meeting with us. We moved forward with hiring her that day. She provided very critical and sound advice while we were under contract when the buyer's agent tried to secure a signature from us, without providing our attorney (Chandra) with the document, and Chandra was able to guide us through potentially making a very costly mistake had we signed. She was able to negotiate thousands of dollars in escrow monies for our home repair in addition to providing the escrow account in which to store the funds.
