John B. Brennan

From the very first time I met with Mr. Brennan he was informative clear and concise. With Mr. Brennan's extensive and vast experience dealing with and working through the often convoluted and confusing criminal justice system from the prosecutor's aspect, gives him the knowhow to see every angle po...ssible in order to produce the best outcome for a defendant. When my court case began I was unemployed and had no other choice but to request a Public Defender. During the months of preliminary conferences with the Public Defender the best offer the prosecutor evey presented was six months in the county and three years probation. I had a criminal possession of CDS particularly Heroin. No manufacturing or intent to distribute charges, just possession of the drug I had been addicted to. I attended a ten day detox, directly followed by a fourteen day inpatient directly followed by a sixteen week intensive outpatient therapy program and worked my way to sobriety. Even with all of the progress I made the best a prosecutor would offer included jail time for a working, recovering clean ex-addict. Beings at that time I was gainfully employed I couldn't see the justice in being taken away from all my progress, loosing great job and being put away and not being able to work to provide for my family. The first night my wife and I met with Mr. Brennan he told me I wasn't going to jail. Mr. Brennan told my wife and I he couldn't promise anything however with the charges at hand and the circumstances surrounding them incarceration seems unjust at best. That first meeting Mr. Brennan asked me what I would like to receive as punishment for the offences I committed. I said "no jail time" he responded with "were going to try for two days in the county jail time served" because I spent two days in the county jail when I was first arrested. I also asked him if we could try for one year probation as opposed to the three years probation the prosecutor had offered me through the Public Defender prior to Mr. Brennan taking over my case. Today I was sentenced to two days in the county jail time served and one year probation (exactly what Mr. Brennan predicted). I know a lawyer can't promise an outcome, however a 25 year experienced ex prosecutor, current criminal defense lawyer can absolutely make an experienced prediction of possible outcomes based off facts and experience with cases similar. God couldn't have brought a better more experienced compassionate lawyer to me had he referred Mr. Brennan himself. Infact with the way everything worked out I believe God brought me to Mr. Brennan because it was more than obvious that in any other situation I would have be behind bars right now not working for my family.

John Brennan redefines the term, Lawyer. From the beginning, he was very compassionate and professional. He took the time to listen to me and understand my goals of the case. With his knowledge and experience, I was able to relax and refrain from the constant worry of "what if." Moreover, he was hone...st and beyond dependable. Regardless of the time and day, he would immediately respond to my emails and phone calls. My convenience was his best interest. Above all, John ensures that he fully represents you and your needs are his core focus.

I foolishly and impulsively left the scene of an accident, but had second thoughts and returned before the scene was cleared. I was charged with leaving the scene. Never having been in trouble before, I was a nervous wreck. John explained my options to me, and calmed me down a lot. Citing my bac...kground of good behavior, he plea-bargained the charge down to a "zero points" motor vehicle offense. And when the plea-bargain was presented to the judge, he raised mitigating circumstances to the judge, and as a consequence I was given an EXTREMELY low fine by the court. My head was spinning in that courtroom, I had no idea what was going on or what would happen to me. I was very happy to have John by my side that morning.
